Streaming Tools Affiliate Programs (Checked Oct 2026)

StreamerPerks earns a commission from some outbound links. How programs are checked and how the site is funded.

If you already use streaming software, these six programs will pay you for recommending it: StreamYard (25% recurring), OneStream Live (25% recurring), Restream (up to 30% recurring on PartnerStack, or a flat $10 referral), Streamlabs Ultra ($10 or $20 per paid subscription through Impact), Voicemod (5% to 30% of Pro sales, depending on tier) and Epidemic Sound (account credits at first, then a 50/50 split once you bring in 12 paying users). For most streamers I'd start with StreamYard or Restream. Both pay a recurring cut, and both sell a tool viewers already ask about on stream. None of these programs publishes a cookie length.

All terms here are as of October 2026. Overlay, alert and emote stores (OWN3D, Nerd or Die and similar) are covered in a separate guide: overlay, alerts and emotes affiliate programs.

How I checked these programs

On October 7, 2026 I read each program's official page or help-center article, plus the PartnerStack listing for Restream. Every number below links to the page it came from. If a term such as cookie length or payout threshold isn't on a public page, the article says "not published." I don't fill gaps with figures from coupon sites or affiliate directories, because those often show old terms or terms from one particular network.

I didn't join these programs and can't show you dashboards or conversion rates. What follows is a side-by-side reading of the official terms, plus notes on who each program suits based on the rules themselves: who can apply, what's banned, and when you actually get paid.

A short note on the two words used here. An affiliate program usually pays cash on every sale and often has an application. A referral program is built into your user account, is open to every customer and often pays in credit. Several tools run both.

StreamYard: 25% recurring, $100 first payout

According to StreamYard's help center, affiliates earn 25% of any subscription sold, and you keep getting paid for as long as the customer stays subscribed. You apply through a form, and the affiliate terms say StreamYard can approve or reject anyone at its sole discretion.

The terms that matter in practice:

  • Payouts usually go out monthly, and the first one comes only after you've earned $100.
  • No self-referrals, one commission per referral, and nothing on refunds or chargebacks.
  • Banned: coupon and deal sites, ads that contain your link, and PPC bidding without written permission.
  • Undisclosed endorsements are grounds for termination, and the terms cite FTC guidelines.

There's also a separate referral program that pays in credit: your referral gets $10, and you get $25 once they spend $25. It isn't available on the Business plan.

Who it's for: streamers who also run talk shows, podcasts or interviews and can show StreamYard's browser studio on screen. Since $100 has to build up first, it pays off when you have steady tutorial traffic, not when you mention it once on stream.

Restream: PartnerStack program or in-app referral?

Restream runs two programs, and they're easy to mix up.

The partner program is listed on PartnerStack with "up to 30% recurring commissions." The listing says commissions last for the lifetime of the account unless stated otherwise, that commissions earned in a month are paid the following month (February earnings become available March 13), and that you withdraw through PayPal or Stripe. It supports SubIDs, so you can tell a YouTube description link from a Twitch panel link. The starting rate and tier steps aren't on the public page.

The referral program is in every account. Restream's help article, updated June 11, 2026, says you earn $10 when someone signs up through your link and buys a paid plan. The money reaches your balance after 30 days of active subscription. You can spend it on your own plan or cash out once you have $5, with payouts handled through Dub.

Who it's for: anyone who multistreams to Twitch, YouTube and Kick and gets asked how. Start with the referral link today, then apply to PartnerStack when tutorials start bringing in signups on a regular basis.

OneStream Live: 25% recurring, open sign-up

OneStream Live advertises a 25% recurring commission on every paid plan bought through your link, calling it "refer once, earn forever" on its affiliate page. There's no application screen described: you log in, accept the affiliate T&C and get a link.

The payout rules come from the page's FAQ:

  • Commission counts only on valid paid subscriptions, so clicks, free signups and refunded purchases earn nothing.
  • Payouts go to PayPal, and you request them manually.
  • You need at least 2 paying customers and $50 in due commission before you can withdraw.
  • Self-referrals are banned.

The page also shows sample math on its Pro Monthly and Enterprise Monthly plans. Treat those as OneStream's own examples, not a forecast.

Who it's for: creators who schedule pre-recorded streams. OneStream pitches itself on streaming pre-recorded and live video to 45+ platforms at once. If your viewers mostly go live in real time with guests, StreamYard or Restream will be the easier sell.

Bar chart of minimum earnings before first payout: StreamYard $100, OneStream Live $50 plus two customers, Restream referral $5

Streamlabs Ultra: flat $10 or $20 per subscription

The Streamlabs program covers only Streamlabs Ultra, not the free Streamlabs Desktop app. According to the affiliate page, your link gives viewers a 7-day Ultra trial. If they convert, you earn $20 for an annual subscription or $10 for a monthly one. It's a one-time payment per subscription, not a percentage.

The program runs on Impact. Conversions lock 10 days after the end of the month they happen in, then get paid 45 days after locking. Streamlabs' own example: a conversion on August 21 locks on September 10 and pays out on October 24. So expect roughly two months between a sale and the money.

The rules are stricter than most:

  • Trials that never convert, refunds and chargebacks earn nothing.
  • No PPC ads on your code.
  • No coupon sites, and no posting your code on forums such as Reddit. Streamlabs describes the codes as "peer-to-peer."

Who it's for: beginner-focused channels and setup tutorials. If you've compared it with the free alternatives (see StreamElements vs Streamlabs), you can explain honestly what Ultra adds, and that kind of explanation is what gets people through the trial.

Voicemod: tiered 5%, 20% and 30%

Voicemod's Creator Program is the only one here with audience minimums. To start as an Affiliate you need one of these: 1,000 Twitch followers and 50 concurrent viewers, 1,000 YouTube subscribers, or 5,000 TikTok followers.

TierHow you get thereRevenue share on Pro salesExtra rewards
AffiliateAudience minimums above5%1-year Pro license
Partner$10 in Pro sales per month for 2 consecutive months, or 3 #VMCreator posts per month for 2 months20%Lifetime Pro license, VM Key, merch
AmbassadorInvite only30%Lifetime license where applicable, campaign involvement

You can share a unique link or a promo code. Cookie length and payout threshold aren't published. At 5% the entry tier pays very little, so the real goal is reaching Partner, which needs only $10 a month in sales.

Who it's for: variety, roleplay and comedy streamers who use the voice changer or soundboard live, so viewers see it working before they click.

Epidemic Sound: credits first, cash after 12 referrals

The Epidemic Sound Community Program has three levels. As a Referrer (any subscriber) you earn credits toward your own subscription for each paying customer you refer. The credit amount depends on your plan and local currency.

Once you bring in 12 new paying users, you become an Ambassador. That gets you a free subscription and a 50/50 revenue share on each new user for their first 12 paying months, or until they cancel. The page says there's no cap, and payouts go to your bank account through the dashboard. Brand Ambassador is invitation-only for top Ambassadors.

Cookie length isn't published. If you're working out whether background music is worth paying for at all, our copyright-free music for streaming guide covers the free options too.

Who it's for: YouTube-first creators and VOD editors. Twitch-only streamers will have a harder time reaching 12 paying referrals.

What about StreamElements and Elgato?

StreamElements has no affiliate program for its own tools because the core tools are free. What it offers creators is a Sponsorship Program: you need an invitation (based on audience size, engagement and content quality), campaigns combine base pay with performance goals, and payments usually go out 30 to 45 days after a campaign ends. That's a sponsorship, not something you can just sign up for.

Elgato sells hardware, and the Stream Deck software comes with it. We cover it in the Stream Deck setup guide rather than here.

Which program should you join first?

  • If you multistream, use the Restream referral link now and apply on PartnerStack later.
  • If you run interviews or co-streams, StreamYard.
  • If you stream scheduled or pre-recorded content, OneStream Live.
  • If you make beginner OBS or setup tutorials, Streamlabs Ultra.
  • If you use a soundboard on stream and meet the follower minimum, Voicemod.
  • If you're YouTube-first and already pay for music, Epidemic Sound.

Pick one or two tools you actually use. Most of these programs pay only after the referral becomes a paying customer, and refunds, chargebacks or unconverted trials earn nothing. For where to put the links, see our guide to affiliate links for streamers.

FAQ

Do any of these programs publish a cookie length?

No. As of October 7, 2026, none of the six official pages states a cookie or attribution window. Restream and OneStream mention a "referral tracking period" or link-based attribution without giving a number. Directory sites list various figures, but they aren't official.

Is recurring commission always better than a flat fee?

Not always. A flat $20 for an annual Streamlabs Ultra plan arrives in one payment. A 25% recurring cut only adds up if the customer keeps paying, so it suits tools people use every week, not ones they try for a single event.

Can I use these links on Twitch?

Yes, in panels, chat commands and descriptions, as long as you disclose. StreamYard's terms list missing FTC disclosure as grounds for termination. Streamlabs bans coupon sites and Reddit posts, and StreamYard bans coupon and deal sites.
